Greetings...thank you for taking the time to connect with me. I am a certified Mind, Body, & Soul Wellness Guide. I've been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years and teaching for 6 years. I received my yoga certification in 2013 from A Jewel In the Lotus and became initiated in Meditation through the Science of Spirituality in 2017. I am currently also a student through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition EXP. MAY 2019 graduation, studying nutrition & health coaching. I currently teach yoga and meditation classes online and at a variety of wellness centers, churches, schools, and libraries on Long Island, in Queens, & Manhattan. I teach a yoga style that is for beginners and experienced students. 


Type of Yoga I Teach– A combination of Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga which focuses on: deep breathing, stretching, strength building, cardio, and relaxation. 


My mission– is to help students create the habit of wellness by guiding them on the journey of prioritizing self-care.

I was spiritually guided to April back in November. She has been such a wonderful addition to my spiritual practice. Her wisdom coupled with her passion to help others inspires me. I have attended several different yoga classes and each time I felt so lost in the classes that I felt discouraged to try again. It's hard to do yoga as a beginner in a full class because the instructors don't give the beginners special attention which is what I needed. When I decided to begin a self care routine I was searching for personalized attention so I can learn how to do the poses correctly while connecting to my breath. I finally came across April Diane Health Coach. Without thinking twice (bc I knew she was the answer) I went for it and purchased 8 sessions to start. April has helped me get into a better self care routine where not only am I doing yoga once a week with her but she has brought so much more insight about what self care really means and I am so grateful for that.
